Flying Experience Days: Are you ready to take on the ultimate aerial challenge? Of course you are! The Goodwood 'Utter Nutter' experience is the most extreme challenge for thrill seeking individuals everywhere, and makes an incredible once-in-a-lifetime gift. Under the guidance of ex-military pilots with years of aerobatic flying experience, you'll begin your day with a safety brief on correct use of the aircraft controls and how to handle the extreme G-forces facing you.
The aircraft you'll be flying is an Extra 300, the most prestigious two-seat competition aerobatic aircraft in the world - a total honour in itself! Once you've strapped in and taken to the skies, the real fun can begin... Your challenge? To complete the Big Five Extreme Manoeuvres; the Cravat, the Inverted Loop, the Ruade, the Inverted push-up to Lomcevak, and the Mulleroid. Each move will require extreme concentration, instinct and most of all, sheer courage. If you are successful with your mission, your name will be forever commemorated on the 'Utter Nutter' Roll of Honour Board.

aerobatics flying day comes out top. Ideal for adrenaline-junkies
or anyone whose dream is to be crowned an 'Utter Nutter'!Once you
have arrived and been welcomed to the centre on your weekend flight
you will be provided with refreshments whilst fitting your flying
suit. You will then receive a full pre-flight briefing which
includes all safety and parachute procedures before a basic lesson
on how to fly an aerobatic plane! An ex-military instructor is on
hand for one- to-one discussion's to explain how extreme your
experience is going to be. Now for the all important flight! Once
in the skies your instructor will go through the aerobatic
manoeuvres you are going to try, including the techniques required
to execute these correctly. Now its your turn to take the controls
and attempt these incredible stunts! Feel the G-force as you try
loop the loops, barrel rolls and many more. Then its back to base
for a personal de-brief with your pilot, including the number of G
pulled and a signed flight certificate for you to keep!

Requirements
Minimum Age: 16.
Maximum Weight: 15 stone 7 pounds.
If you are over 71 years of age you will be required to provide a
letter from your doctor confirming your suitability to fly.
You will be required to complete a medical form before flying.

Experience Duration: 3:00
Time Spent at Venue: 3:00
Your experience will last approximately 2-3 hours in total witharound 30 minutes flying time (20 minutes airborne).

What to Wear
You will be provided with your flying suit and helmet. Please wear flat, sensible shoes with decent grip (eg: trainers) and comfortable clothing, no skirts allowed.

Are you looking for an adrenaline-fuelled gift, that will reach new levels of excitement and thrill? Ultimate High in Goodwood, Chichester, offers extreme aerobatic flying experiences and flights with professional fighter pilots – truly the ultimate high! We interviewed Jo to find out more about these incredible flying experiences, and found out a lot of very interesting facts about their planes and celebrity visitors.
Q1: We know that Ultimate High has a very fascinating history behind the planes, could you tell us more about this?
Ultimate High operate 2 different types of aircraft. Our British built Slingsby Fireflies were used by the military as part of the process to train to prepare fighter pilots for the front line. Our flying guests sit side by side with their instructor and the bubble canopy allows fantastic visibility whichever way up the aeroplane is! Our tandem seat Extra 300 aircraft is a two-seat version of the aircraft used in the Red Bull Air Races and is used for public air displays. Celebrities who have flown with us include Guy Martin who learnt how to deal with G-forces for his wall of death world record attempt, the Stig, Reggie Yates, Steve Backshall, Carol Vorderman, Dr Alice Roberts, and we have featured on numerous TV programmes, including Strictly Come Dancing, Coast, Blue Peter and Fifth Gear.
Q2: What differentiates your flying experiences to other competitors?
We use extremely powerful aircraft that enable guests to derive first hand experience of flying on the edge. All of our instructors are ex-military professional instructors who love demonstrating the joys of aerobatic flight. We are the only place in Europe where you can fly simulated air combat in former military aircraft. We have also been awarded the title of “Best Adventure Experience” by the Gadget Show.
Q3: What advice would you give anyone who hasn’t flown before or is a little apprehensive about a flying experience?
Our experienced and considerate instructors always ensure that the flight is tailored specifically to the guest. Some guests choose to fly very gently whilst others are much more adventurous; we make sure that we always deliver exactly the right amount of excitement to each individual.
Q4: In your opinion, what is the best part of your job?
Introducing newcomers to the amazing experience of aerobatic flight and sharing their enjoyment and laughter.
Q5: What type of aerobatic stunts do you do while flying?
Aerobatic manoeuvres flown range from the most simple, such as loops and rolls, anywhere up to the extreme tumbling figures demonstrated at air shows. G-forces can range between +8G and -4G!
Q6: Best Adventure Experience: What three words would you use to describe your flying experiences?
Adrenaline-fuelled, exciting, fun.
