    We were received at the vineyard with a brief introductory chat and then went out into the vineyard itself where we were treated to a lively and interesting discourse as we progressed up the rows of vines. We then retired to the `tasting `room where we were again entertained as well as informed about the wines produced. All in all a very interesting and entertaining day.

    Very knowledgeable host conducted us around his vineyard, answering many questions from the small group of guests. We tasted 5 wines including some new ones. After lunch in the cafe and a chance to try the new sparkling red wine (at extra cost but worth it) this paved the way to a relaxed afternoon. The wine I bought (we were on foot) was stored so we could collect by car the next day.
