ALL ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Helicopter Flight Tour Of Lancashire

Look down over lovely Lancashire, with this superb 30 minute helicopter sightseeing tour!

This wonderful 30 minute Lancashire helicopter flight will take you for an incredible aerial tour over lovely Lancashire. A perfect experience gift for your Lancashire loved ones, this tour will let them see Greater Manchester from a new - and totally exhilarating - perspective.

You'll set off for your helicopter flight tour at Barton, where you'll enjoy the wonderful feeling of a vertical helicopter take-off. Once airborne, your helicopter pilot will take you towards Rochdale where you will see Rochdale Manor, once owned by Lord Byron. In Rochdale, keep your eyes out for the town hall - a building that was apparently so admired by Adolf Hitler that he wanted to ship it back to Germany if he had successfully invaded England! From here, you'll follow the canal towards the town of Todmorden, right on the southerly edge of the Pennines in Bronte Country. From here you'll fly towards the hometown of Beatrix Potter, Bacup. From Bacup, you'll turn and head back towards the airport, passing over a wind farm and the town of Bury, and you'll get great views of the Manchester skyline before your pilot brings you safely back down to earth. This is a fantastic flight, and a great way to see some of Lancashire's best and most beautiful spots, while also enjoying the unrivalled exhilaration of flying in a helicopter.

So if you want to look at Lancashire in a new light, or you're looking for an unforgettable gift for you nearest and dearest, why not try this 30 minute Lancashire sightseeing helicopter flight?!

Winter Hill before the devastation

This was my first experience of flying in a helicopter. The day was sunny and bright, the ground staff were informative and helpful. The pilot Dan made the experience an enjoyable one. The take off was smooth and we reached cruising height quickly and were soon able to enjoy the views of this part of Lancashire. Whilst moving Northward towards Rochdale, it became apparent that there was some crosswinds but this was minimised by the exceptional skill of the pilot Dan. A truly wonderful experience. Many thanks for a wonderful celebration of my 70th birthday.
