What is There to Do in Gloucestershire

Unique Gifts and Days Out in Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire is one of the most scenic counties in the UK, with the Forest of Dean spanning over 500 square kilometres and miles upon miles of rolling hills. There are also a huge number of rivers running through Gloucestershire, including the longest river in the UK; the River Severn. A quaint riverside pub is the perfect setting for an afternoon whiled away with a loved one, or you could get wet and wild with an exciting kayaking experience on the River Wye. The best thing about Gloucestershire is that that are activities to suit all personalities and budgets, whether you're looking to escape city life or tick some extreme sports off your bucket list - did you know the UK's highest bungee jump is in Gloucestershire?

Gloucester Cathedral is one of the top tourist attractions in the county, having been a focal place of worship for 1,300 years. The architecture is of particular note featuring the classic Early English style, the Decorated style, and one of the first examples of Perpendicular Architecture - the perfect day out for art and history buffs! Gloucestershire is also a great destination for culture and food, hosting the Sound of Cheltenham Jazz Festival and the Cotswolds Food & Drink Festival to name a few. It's also the birthplace of John Stafford-Smith who composed the Star Spangled Banner!

One of the most popular things to do in the Cotswolds is to take a helicopter tour over the countryside, soaking in the sights as an expert pilot describes points of interest and local landmarks. Helicopter flights make wonderfully unique gifts for Gloucestershire locals, or go the extra mile and book them a Cabri helicopter flying lesson! For those who prefer to stay on solid ground, there's a range of thrilling 4x4 off-road driving experiences in Gloucester to choose from, or a delightful afternoon tea for two at Cotswold House Hotel. Whether you're visiting Gloucestershire to get your blood pumping or just want to relax, there are attractions, experiences and days out to suit everyone.

Excellent intro to Studio Recording. However, musicians might be better off simply booking a couple of hours with a local studio to save money and be able to perform the music as well as the vocal. However, if you want to sing along to a backing track and have it recorded and mixed to a high standard... then this is ideal. I very much enjoyed it and it has encouraged me to book more studio time in the future - but i'll bring the instruments next time.

The company we went to were extremely helpful and we couldn't give them enough praise for making our experience day special. They couldn't have been more constructive, friendly and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.
