Arriving at the lake in Reading, you'll first greet the instructor and receive a full safety briefing on the activity ahead. After getting kitted out in your wetsuit, buoyancy aid, goggles and helmet, it's time to hit the water! You'll start submerged with just your head above the surface, and the instructor on the jet-ski will control the throttle to get you going. Three powerful jets will propel you high into the sky, and if you're able to keep your balance and stay in control of the bike, you can reach heights of up to 25ft before plunging back to the lake! This is a totally new take on the traditional water jet pack, and is sure to be an utterly unforgettable experience in the great outdoors.

The Reading flybike experience runs on selected weekdays between May and October. Sessions run in the morning from 11am and in the afternoon from 2pm.

In particularly extreme weather conditions it may not be safe to run the experience, in which case participants can simply book onto a more suitable date.
