ALL ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE

Experience Canyoning in Scotland

Experience the best canyoning Scotland has to offer! Jump, slide, scramble and swim your way down plunge pools, slides & waterfalls in the beautiful Bruar Canyon with this amazing outdoor experience.

A Scotland canyon experience is the ultimate in outdoor adventures, and offers a feeling of true wilderness while being just over an hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Bruar Canyon in Perthshire is a challenging one, and this experience will have you sliding down natural rock slides, swimming in rapids, scrambling rocks, jumping into plunge pools, and crossing a 'via ferrata' (cable traverse). As challenging as it is, navigating the Perthshire canyon is also a lot of fun. Highly experienced guides are on-hand at all times, and experiences are tailor-made for each group's ability.

Canyoning in Scotland (Perthshire) is the ultimate group experience - whether it be a stag party or hen party, a corporate activity, or simply an unforgettable day with good friends.Once you arrive at the meeting point, your instructors will deliver a full briefing on everything you need to know for your canyoning experience, including safety information and an overview of some of the canyon features you will be tackling during your adventure. After being fitted for your gear (wetsuit, neoprene jacket, buoyancy aid, helmet), it's time to take on the canyon...

As you make your way down the gorgeous gorge over the next 3.5 hours, you will encounter an obstacle course of amazing natural features - deep plunge pools, exhilarating rock-slides, cliffs, white water rapids - before eventually reaching the superb 'via ferrata', a cable traverse that will bring you to yet another natural water-slide. Once you have completed the actual canyoning, it's back to the centre where you can get dried and changed, and enjoy some lunch or a well-deserved hot drink!
