Located in a stunning quarry in Wales, you will have the opportunity to experience scuba diving under the direct supervision of a qualified PADI instructor. Learning with an experienced instructor creates a safe and enjoyable experience for learners and professionals alike!
You will learn to establish specific information, concepts and scuba skills before proceeding to the next level - the open water Scuba Dive. Knowledge and skills will be developed through tuition from your instructor, taking you through a performance based training session. Once these skills have been attained, you will have achieved certification to dive with a qualified instructor in open water Scuba Dives.
So, if you would like to become a certified Scuba Diver and explore all that the under-water world has to offer, this is just the thing to get you started.
This scuba diving experience in Wales runs throughout the year, although availability may be slightly limited from December through to April due to the cold water temperatures.

The minimum age for this Discover Scuba Quarry Dive varies between 10 years and 12 years, according to the time of year - this is due to the temperatures of the water. Please contact our customer service team before purchasing a voucher if you are unsure.
All participants will be required to complete a health declaration upon arrival - if you are deemed 'unfit' for the experience, you will not be entitled to a refund. Please download the a copy of the self-certification medical questionnaire, prior to arrival, here.

Group sizes can range from 1-4 participants.
Although there are no refreshment facilities on-site, there are a number of small cafes nearby, and staff at the centre are even happy to order in food from the nearest town if you so wish!
All scuba diving equipment, including wetsuits will be provided by the centre, after your initial safety briefing.
Participants should bring their own swimwear and a towel - there are heated changing facilities on-site.
Although this introductory quarry dive is held outside, it is usually not affected by weather conditions (except in extreme circumstances).
