For all budding photographers, there are few images that capture such elegance and power than those of mighty hawks and majestic owls in flight. During this bird of prey photography course in Newcastle, you'll have the opportunity to take beautiful pictures of a number of birds in their natural environment, and pick up some useful tips along the way.
Arriving at the centre, your experience begins when you meet the expert handler and the rest of the participants in the session. The day is split into two sections where you'll first take the birds into a historic open mine shaft, capturing their flight above your heads in this unique environment. Following a break for snacks and refreshments, you'll have the opportunity to photograph more exotic creatures before heading into a stunning wooded valley with more of the hawks and owls. Here you'll have incredible displays of light to capture the intricate details of the birds in flight, and be able to truly appreciate the movement and power of these animals.
Throughout the day your expert handler will talk about the birds of prey and explain their heritage, lifestyle and habits, whilst you click away and collect a variety of images to take home.
