Need some fresh inspiration in the kitchen? Well, this ‘Best of British’ cooking experience could be just the thing to hone your skills and enliven your palate. Enter the renowned academy of multi-award winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, and learn to prepare several flavoursome, home-grown dishes – all given a contemporary twist!
The experience takes place at Jean-Christophe’s home, in picturesque Tea Green, Hertfordshire. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by one of the accomplished resident chefs. He’ll be your engaging guide – drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience – as you begin to explore the very best of British cuisine, together. Once you’ve been introduced to a few quality ingredients, it’s time to get cooking! Expect tried-and-tested classics, subtly tweaked to excite modern-day palates and perfected by the academy team. Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy practical demonstrations and get hands-on, before finally sitting down to a delicious lunch – Jean-Christophe himself may even make an appearance!

The course runs on selected weekdays throughout the year and is subject to availability.
It is recommended that you book at least 4 weeks before the course.
The minimum age for this is 18.
Unfortunately there is no disabled access on site as it is a 14th century listed building.
Please advise upon making a booking if you have any food allergies or requirement.

The academy course is suitable for groups of up to 12 people. The minimum group size required to run is 6.
Unfortunately this is not suitable for spectators.
Please wear whatever you are comfortable in. Flat shoes are recommended as you will be standing for a considerable amount of time.
This course is held indoors and therefore not weather permitting.
