Need some fresh inspiration in the kitchen? Well, this ‘Introduction to Oriental Cuisine’ cooking experience could be just the thing to hone your skills and enliven your palate. Enter the renowned academy of star chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, and learn to prepare several flavoursome Oriental dishes – time to throw away those takeaway menus!
The experience takes place at Jean-Christophe’s home, in picturesque Tea Green, Hertfordshire. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the resident expert in Orient Cuisine. They’ll be your engaging guide – drawing on their own experience and the inspiration from Jean-Christophe as you begin to explore one of the world’s favourite cuisines, together. Once you’ve become familiar with a few essential ingredients, it’s time to get cooking! Expect proper fast food, balancing unique flavours and textures – all based on authentic recipes, perfected by the academy team. Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy practical demonstrations and get hands-on, before finally sitting down to a delicious lunch – Jean-Christophe himself may even make an appearance!

It is recommended that you book at least 4 weeks before the course.
The minimum age for this is 18.
Unfortunately there is no disabled access on site as it is a 14th century listed building.

The academy course is suitable for groups of up to 12 people. The minimum group size required to run is 6.
Unfortunately this is not suitable for spectators.
Please wear whatever you are comfortable in. Flat shoes are recommended as you will be standing for a considerable amount of time.
This course is held indoors and therefore not weather permitting.
