Zapcat Experience Bournemouth

Enjoy an exhilarating ride in an incredible 50bhp Zapcat, reach speeds of up to 45mph and race across the waters of the Solent alongside an expert instructor.

Feel the adrenaline pump with this exhilarating powerboat experience in which you will co-pilot a high speed Thundercat. You will be responsible for balancing the boat whilst your expert instructor jumps waves at speeds of up to 45mph and pulls thrilling 90 and 180 degree turns around buoys. So hold on tight and enjoy a heart racing blast in the 50bhp Thundercat.

Bournemouth

Your Zapcat experience will begin with a welcome on your arrival to the centre and a full safety briefing. You will then be kitted up in the necessary gear (including helmets and life jackets) before heading outside to the Zapcat.You will co-pilot the Zapcat across the Solent alongside your expert instructor. Your experience will last for 20 minutes.

Minimum Age: 16 - under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
Maximum Weight: 20 stone
Maximum Height: 6ft 5'
The activity is unsuitable for people with back, neck, knee, ankle or joint injuries. It is advised that you seek medical advise if you suffer from any medical conditions which may be affected by shock loads and extreme activities.

Allow for 2 hours at the centre with 20 minutes in the Zapcat.

Spectators are welcome and there is a viewing area for spectators.

Selected dates between April and October.

Please wear soft shoes and warm layers. Safety equipment such as the life jacket, helmet and waterproofs will be provided by the centre.
