White Water Rafting Group Experience

As one of the all-time-favourite extreme sports activities this is a great day out! Hire a 6-8 man raft and enjoy a fantastic team-building exercise as you discover the thrill of white water rafting. Learn the basic skills from your qualified instructor before tackling the 700 meter, International Grade 3 raging rapids course! Work together to guide yourselves to safety, paddle hard over the constant whirlpools and hold on tight as you nose dive down the unexpected dips! With up to 7 of your most adrenaline-hungry friends and family this is sure to be an unforgettable experience!

Once your group has arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing whilst you collect your safety equipment. Your qualified instructor will run through the basics to white water rafting before guiding you down to the rapids! Now to begin rafting! Climb aboard the 6-8 man raft and work together, with the rest of your group to guide yourselves down the raging course. You will participate in approximately 3-4 runs down the 700meter course! Your experience will draw to a close with a de-brief back at the centre, where you will have a chance to change into dry, clean clothes.

Minimum Age: 14
Maximum Weight: 18 Stone (Chest Size 48")
Under 18's require parental consent.
All participants must be confident swimmers!
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

This experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your activity time to collect safety equipment.

This voucher entitles 6 - 8 participants to enjoy this experience.
You will be in one raft together.

Spectators are welcome to watch.

This experience is available on selected dates throughout March- November, with many weekend dates available.

Please Note: This voucher entitles up to 8 participants to enjoy this experience.

All safety equipment such as helmets, wetsuits and buoyancy aids will be provided by the centre.

Please wear a swimsuit and trainers you don't mind getting wet and bring a towel and spare change of clothes for after your experience.

This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.
