Sit back and enjoy the relaxing flight as you Glide a Mile into the air, taking in the picturesque views below. You can choose from 3 different flights where you can reach heights of up to 5280 ft. Assisted by your professional instructor you can take the controls yourself and enhance your skills. This experience is truly spectacular as you appreciate the tranquil beauty of the sights below.

Swindon

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will be briefed for your extended gliding lesson. Once the safety breifing has finished you will start to get ready for the main flight! You will meet your instructor who will be responsible for ensuring you get airborne. Once you've made it into the air you are free to enjoy the spectacular views. You have a choice within your experience as to whether you have 1 tow where you reach heights of 5280 ft with 35-60 minutes in the air, 2 tows reaching heights of 3000ft with 20 minutes per flight or finally 3 tows to 2000ft with 15-20 minutes per flight. You should allow 4 hours at the centre.

Minimum Height: 6ft 3in
Minimum Weight: 16 stone
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

This experience lasts approximately 4 hours.

This experience is great for individuals. There is no extra charge for spectators to attend on the day.

This Intensive Gliding Experience is available on Weekends only.

You should wear casual and comfortable clothes with soft soled shoes such as trainers, no high heels. All safety equipment will be provided on the day.

This is a weather dependent activity. Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be re-arranged, please call the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
