Experience Solent sightseeing at super speeds in Southampton, with this high-octane Powerboat taster session. You'll even have a go at driving the powerboat yourself! The Solent is a stunning, sheltered stretch of water separating Southampton from the Isle of Wight, and is famous among sailors and seafarers alike. It's becoming an increasingly popular Powerboating location, as it offers a safe stretch of water combined with some marvelous views of England's southern coast. There are few more enjoyable, invigorating and exciting ways to spend a couple of hours, and this Powerboat experience and is guaranteed to blast away even the the dustiest of cobwebs and rejuvenate tired souls. Savour the salty sea-spray that spritzes your smiling face as you blast and bounce across the water's surface - and do hold on tight!

Southampton

Your Southampton Solent powerboat experience begins with a full safety briefing which will cover the fabulous craft - and journey - you are about to embark upon. Once you've been fitted with a life jacket and an off-shore racing jacket, you will be escorted to the powerboat, where the good times will really roll. The driver will warm you and the powerboat up with a gentle cruise downriver to begin with, but soon you'll be in open water, where it's time to open up the throttle and let the powerboat do what it does best - go fast. Really fast. Hold on to your hat, and enjoy the refreshing freedom of bouncing along the water's surface.

All participants are required to sign a disclaimer.
Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

This powerboat driving session will last for around 1 to 1 and a half hours, with anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes spent on the water, depending on the conditions.

Friends and family are welcome to come and watch you leave the venue they can the relax and have a drink or something to eat. There are toilets, changing areas and catering facilities on site. Dogs and children are welcome!

This experience is on selected weekend dates from May to October.

You will be provided with a water proof jacket but we suggest you wear a t-shirt, jeans and soft shoes or trainers. Please also bring sun glasses, suntan lotion and a sweat shirt. There is not a requirement to
