We love to drive in Britain and as you may know track days are fast becoming Britain's favourite weekend pastime and there is literally no better introduction to both driving and track days than this superb Silverstone Rookie Drive Experience. You'll get the chance to learn from the pros as you buckle up next to your own Qualified Silverstone Driving instructor. Learn the skills and techniques require to ace your own driving test. At the wheel of the famous Renault Clio 200 Cup Car, you'll have the chance to test yourself in a swift and responsive car. Not only will you get a head start, that will help you get your licence you'll also have a great time. This experience is also perfect for those who are frustrated by not being old enough to take to the roads themselves.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will begin the driving experience with a brief that will cover the circuit driving techniques, the car itself and safety. With 3 students in the car with the instructor, you will be learning from the others before it is your turn to drive. You will have around 25 minutes actually behind the wheel with your instructor sat next to you providing hints, tips and the inside knowledge! You will then have a debrief and discover how well you did - Pass or Fail!?

Minimum Height: 4ft 10ins

Maximum Weight: 18 stone
 
Driving license: Participants do not require a licence for this experience

Expect to be at the centre for around 2 hours.
Students will be in the car throughout, and will have around 25 minutes each behind the wheel.

1 instructor per 3 participants.
Spectators are welcome to come and watch, however if the date co-insides with a major event - only one car pass will be issued for entry in to the circuit.

The Rookie Adult usually runs twice per month, at the weekends.

You should wear comfortable clothes and trainers. All safety equipment is supplied by the centre on the day.
