Silverstone Rally - Rally Quest 2011

The Silverstone Rally School is searching for its future top pro driver, with a series of rally events. After working your way up through the heats, the winner will receive full training and use of a fully expensed and supported Rally Car and team to enter into real rallies across the UK.

The winner will get:
Fully-prepared rally car - Qualified co-driver/navigator - Race Suit ( helmet to be provided by the winner) - Team of supporting mechanics - Fully-equipped service van and trailer - Management and assistance - Additional training at the school - Event organisation and planning - Assistance with rally driver's licence - Accommodation at events.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Silverstone Rally Quest will begin with a safety brief and introduction to car / instructor. Once changed into your racing gear, you and the instructor will go out on to the authentic Rally Stage for a practice session, attempting handbrake turns, Scandinavian flicks, pendulums and more. Throughout your course, the team of experienced Silverstone Rally School instructors will support you and help you easily turn the theory into practice, on the fantastic 'Special Stage' of the course. As well as the basics, you will be learning the techniques of car control and heavily improving your confidence, with the highly skilled and MSA qualified instructor providing expert advice throughout. Once the experience side is over, the instructor will make an assessment and you will be entered into the ranks for the best driver of the year.
After the final assessment day, Silverstone Rally School will invite the top eighteen scoring male entrants back for the semi final. This will comprise of further training and assessment, costing a further £99.00 for participants. Silverstone Rally School will hope to find the top ten scoring male entrants, who will then be invited back to the grand final, costing an additional £99.00. On this day, the School will crown the champion who will win the ultimate prize! An almighty amount of fantastic quality Rally Driving for what is a cheap price, with a chance to become the next big star of the Rally world!

To qualify to enter you must hold a full driving licence and not have previously held a national B rally motorsport licence.

Expect to be at Silverstone Rally School for around 2-3 hours.

Spectators are very welcome and there are 3 spaces available per participant. There is a dedicated outside viewing gallery and an inside area with panoramic views of the rally stage. Unfortunately there are no pets allowed.

The Silverstone Rally Quest will take place once per month, on a Sunday.

Please wear comfortable and warm outdoor clothing that you don't mind getting dirty and thinly soled shoes, such as trainers.

The Silverstone Rally Quest experience will go ahead in most weather conditions, but please contact the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
