Track days are fast becoming the new black. So why not treat yourself or your loved one to a Day of Thunder and there's no better place to start than Nissan's GT-R. It may not have a designer badge. but Japan's latest high octane export is as Fast and as furious as they come. The Nissan GT-R is the latest in a long line of Japanese muscle cars. From the infamous Skyline family, as seen in the aforementioned films and from video games like Tokyo Drift, the GT-R is here to show you that power and speed are not traits exclusive to the Italians. Your Silverstone instructor / co-pilot will not only teach you all about the world famous circuit, he'll also show you how to use the amazing 6 speed paddle shift gear box to get the most out of the staggering 485 BHP, and the car's legendary handling will allow you to shave the seconds off, as your laps rack up. The Nissan GT-R can hit a eye popping top speed of 193 MPH, can you?

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre, your day will begin with refreshments and a 10minute in-car safety briefing about the track and the stunning supercar challenger that you are about to be driving. Then, once briefed it's time to start the fun with 3 amazing laps of Silverstone circuit in the Nissan GT-R, totaling around 6miles. Then, once the driving is complete you will finish with a score-card debrief from your instructor.

Participants must have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year, which must be presented on the day.

The experience will last for around 40minutes, but expect to be at the centre for over an hour.

Spectators are welcome to come and watch, however if the date co-insides with a major event - only one car pass will be issued for entry in to the circuit.

This experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year.

You should wear clothing that covers your arms and legs, and flat soled shoes. All safety equipment is supplied by the centre on the day.
