This fantastic Segway Safari experience will let you get to grips with these off road machines in an 160 acre private farm and woodland. An instructor is on hand to teach you the basics, who will then lead you on a tour of the area so you can practice your skills. Now you will exploring the vast expanse of woodland tracks and farm. These machines are nearly impossible to fall off thanks to the gyroscope, so just lean forward and experience these amazing off road machines.

Macclesfield

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your Segway Safari will begin with an instruction and safety briefing, where you'll meet the instructor and your uber cool Segway! After you have learnt how to handle the unique vehicle controls, you will set off on a safari taking you through off road terrain, challenging tracks and a bit of woodland! You may form part of a group of up to 4 other participants.

Minimum Age: 11
Minimum Weight: 7.5 stone
Maximum Weight: 18 stone

Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Segway Safari will last for around 45 minutes to 1 hour, but expect to be at the centre for longer.

There is a viewing area for spectators, where they can watch the participants introduction and practice session before waiting back at the on-site cabin. There is a cafe on-site serving drinks and snacks as well as a picnic area.

The Segway Safari is available on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year.

Dress in rugged outdoor clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.

Extreme weather conditions may affect the Segway Safari, please check with the centre on the day.
