RYA Jet Ski Course - Full Day for 2

This great full day course will see you and a friend or loved on eventually gain your RYA Private Water Craft certificate. Jet ski's are becoming the most desirable sea going vehicle for many people thanks to their speed and manoeuvrability on water, and their easy of transportation on land make them great for private use. Poole harbour is the perfect location to practice and perfect your skills thanks to vast expanse of relatively safe and clam water. Achieving your RYA PWC certificate is becoming more and more important in jet ski ownership as many harbours and ports require this to launch the craft.

Once you have both arrived and been welcomed to the centre your RYA Jet Ski Course will begin with refreshments and by getting into your wet suits and safety gear for the day. Then, it's over to the instructor as you will both be having a safety brief and introduction to the vehicles you are to be powering all day! Once briefed, you'll both be ready to get out on the water with your instructor where you'll be practicing all sorts of skills, techniques and maneuvers as you both learn to get the most from your Jet Ski and from your experience on board one! The RYA Jet Ski Course will equip you with all the essential skills and knowledge to gain the RYA PWC Proficiency Certificate, (which is becoming more important at most harbour & port facilities) and will help you to become a safe and competent Jet Skier.

In order to obtain the RYA certificate, a fee of £15 (each) must be paid to RYA.

Minimum Age: 12

No experience necessary.

This course will last for the entire day.

Spectators (one per person) can watch from dry land, but this must be arranged when making the booking.

The RYA Jet Ski Course is available all year round on selected weekdays and weekends.
(Generally ceases between November & February)

You should come dressed how you like, as you will need to wear a wet suit and other safety equipment which is provided by the centre.
Some wet suits are provided by the centre - please confirm with the centre if you will need one.

Extreme weather conditions may affect the course. Please phone the centre on the day to ensure that it is going ahead.
