River Wild Full Day - For 2

Enjoy a day taking on the white water with this fantastic kayaking experience for two. You will be exploring the river in agile two man boats under the guidance of an expert instructor.

Experience the thrill of white water Kayaking with a friend or loved one. You will be able to explore parts of the river not usually reachable thanks to the superb manoeuvrability and stability of the craft you will be using. An expert kayak instructor will be in their own boat coaching you in techniques usually left to advanced level paddlers insuring you quickly learn to conquer the weirs, stoppers and eddy's.

Your River Wild experience will begin with a welcome to the centre by the staff who will get you kitted up with your safety equipment including wet suits, buoyancy aids and helmets. After a safety briefing and on land demonstration you will head out to the waters edge to begin the real fun. You and your partner will be taking on an ever increasing difficulty of rapids as you learn from your expert instructor. After a short break for lunch you will be back out on the river taking on and exploring more challenging rapids in the afternoon session. Your experience will draw to close back at the centre with a de-brief.

The activity starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm, includes a light lunch at the café.

Non-participants may wish to watch the rafting action from the comfort of the Riverside Café.

This experience is available all year round depending on the water level.

All the equipment is provided (Wetsuits, Buoyancy aids, Helmets, Cagoules) but you will need to provide a pair of trainers you can get wet or a pair of wet-boots, swimwear and a towel.

This experience may be effected by adverse weather. Please call the centre in advance to check you experience won't be effected.
