Powerboat Taster Session

Enjoy the ride of your life with the unforgettable power of a powerboat! Hold on tight and enjoy the view, its going to be fast!

• Get ready for a white knuckle high speed ride
• Skipping inches from the surface at 40 knots
• All wet weather kit and instructor provided

Experience the unique thrill of a high speed tour of the Solent in a genuine offshore powerboat. Hold on tight as your highly experienced instructor takes the boat to the limit completing our offshore circuit at speeds of up to 40 knots! Feel the grace and pace of these racing thoroughbreds as they slice through the waves with ease.

Southampton

Your experience will begin in Southampton with a briefing covering the boat and safety procedures. You will then be provided with offshore racing jacket and life jacket before being shown to the waiting powerboat and helped to buckle up. After a short cruise down the river, the driver will open up the throttle and you will be flying across the waves. This unique experience includes a demonstration of wave jumping, high speed cornering, racing lines and starts. Then you have 2 laps behind the wheel on our circuit to put your nautical driving skills to the test.

Maximum weight is 17 stone. All participants are required to sign a disclaimer. Minimum age 12 but under 18's must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Allow one and a half hours total for your experience. There will be between one and four others taking part in the session.

Friends and family are welcome to come and watch you leave the venue they can the relax and have a drink or something to eat. There are toilets, changing areas and catering facilities on site. Dogs and children are welcome!

This experience is on selected weekend dates from May to October.

You will be provided with a water proof jacket but we suggest you wear a t-shirt, jeans and soft shoes or trainers. Please also bring sun glasses, suntan lotion and a sweat shirt. There is not a requirement to
