Powerboat Extravaganza

This is the ultimate Race Boat experience! You will get to drive three race prepared boats as well acting as the co-pilot on a Micro Cat.

This ultimate power boat experience will let you drive or ride four race ready powerboats. Start by acting as the co-pilot on the ultra agile Micro Cat before moving onto piloting the Monohull, Catamaran and Hydroplane power boats. This experience is sure to leave a smile on your face long after you have left the centre!

Kingsbury

Your Powerboat Extravaganza will begin with a welcome registration followed by a full safety and technique briefing as well as lakeside tuition. You first session will be piloting the Yamato Hydroplane which can reach a top speed of 67mph! You will then move onto co-piloting the race prepared Micro Cat. With and expert instructor at the controls, these light weight boats can pull 3g's through the tight bends. After a short break for lunch you will begin your final two sessions piloting the Catamaran and Monohull sports boats. These craft have incredible power to weight ratio meaning amazing acceleration and a top race speed of 90mph! Your experience will draw to a close back at the centre where you can make use of the facilities.

Minimum age: 16 years

Participants are required by law to disclose all medical conditions or disabilities that may affect or be affected by your participation. I.e., back/heart conditions/ hearing/sight/pregnancy.
You will be required to sign a declaration of your fitness to participate on arrival.
Parental signature/ authorisation will be required for participants under 18 years of age.
There is a zero tolerance approach to drugs and alcohol.
Third Party Public Liability Insurance is provided with your experience. Personal accident insurance can be purchased on the day if required.

Please allow approximately 8 hours for the whole experience.

Spectators are welcome free of charge, but should they require lunch this must be booked direct with the centre prior to the event – Cost £10.00 per person.

Courses run on selected weekdays, Saturdays and some Sundays from May 1st through to October 1st – you are advised to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment
Your experience will be re-booked if cancelled due to inclement weather.
All dates are subject to availability.
Please Note: There will be up to 20 people on the experience.

Suitable clothing such as lightweight jeans, trainers, a long sleeved shirt or a pullover is a must as It is very important to keep all limbs covered whilst driving the boats.
A change of clothing is also recommended just in case along with personal toiletries.
Changing /shower facilities are available.
All safety equipment will be provided and must be worn as instructed.
