White water rafting is difficult to accurately describe - it's the sort of sport that can only truly be appreciated when it is experienced. High in adrenaline, white water rafting is one of the most popular outdoor activities we offer. Not only is it great fun and greatly challenging, but it is a great social event, as white water rafting will have several people in each raft, working together to navigate the raging rapids.

You may prefer the thrilling and cutom-built manmade rapids at the centre in Scotland, or perhaps you are the sort of erson who likes things REALLY back to nature, and want to go rafting on an unpredictable and wonderfully wild river runs! Either way, with this Scottish White Water rafting expereince, you are guaranteed the ride of a lifetime!

Your white water rafting experience in Scotland will begin with a good briefing, all about safety and white water rafting techniques. After this you will don your provided safety gear and rush for the rapids, as your experienced and qualified guide brings you and your fellow rafting group down an exciting and challenging white water run, in a large 6/8 man inflatable raft. Depending on time, and the conditions on the day, you may have time for more than one run!
Age Restrictions:  Min age is 8 in Wales, 12 and 14 in other centres, please call Ex-element to discuss. Parental consent is required for all under 18's.Weight Restrictions: May apply dependent on Venue.  If you are over 16 Stone or chest size 48 Inches then please contact us for more information. All Participants must be confident in open water and able to swim 25m with flotation device. White Water Rafting is not suitable if you are pregnant.
Llangollan - 6-8 people per Raft
You should allow up to 3 hours at the centre for your experience.
Spectators are welcome and will be able to see varying amounts of the experience dependent on location. Not advised in Scotland.

Northampton are open from March till October.
All specialist equipment such as wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet will be provided by the centre. You should take your swim suit & towel, a spare pair of trainers and warm clothing to change into afterwards.
Rafting operates in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather conditions or flooding if the rivers are too swollen. Please check with the centre on the day or the day before your experience.
