Learn the art of Parkour with this fantastic workshop! Your experienced instructor will have you performing moves you thought were only possible in Hollywood action films!

Discover the fun of Parkour with this excellent introduction workshop! Originating from the French slang 'tracer' (to move quickly), and featured in many famous Hollywood blockbusters including Pirates of the Caribbean and Casino Royal, parkour is an exciting new addition to the extreme sports family. Your qualified tutor will have you practising jumps, rolls, vaults and swings whilst making full use of the various obstacles laid out around the gymnasium to see how fast you can travel to the other side! By the end of the lesson you will understand the full meaning of becoming either a traceur (men) or a traceuse (women)!

Basingstoke

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your experience will begin with a full safety briefing before an introduction to the up and coming extreme sport, parkour! Your qualified instructor will run you through the basic techniques to move from one side of the gymnasium to the other, whilst efficiently using the obstacles laid out. You will learn how to develop your routines and incorporate more daring moves as your confidence grows. Your experience will draw to a close with a demonstration lap from your tutor before a de-brief about the skills you have learnt!

Participants under 18 require parental consent.
Please Note: A reasonable level of fitness is required.

This experience lasts approximately 1 hour.

This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike.

Classes are held on selected dates throughout the year.
