Lotus Elise Thrill

Lotus Elise driving a great way to appreciate a British icon as the lightweight vehicle is splendid fun - for 4 laps of the circuit! Drive the 725kg 2 seater, with 150bhp and a top speed of 150mph.

Lotus is a British icon of the motor world, having produced a number of top performing sports cars en route to this; the magnificent Lotus Elise. With a powerful engine housed inside an incredibly light chassis, the Lotus Elise boasts a 150bhp engine and a 0-60mph time of just over 5 seconds - which in this lightweight speed demon with such responsive handling makes for a fantastic driving experience. With an instructor present throughout and 3-4 laps of the circuit, you'll be en route to enjoying a modern driving experience in a British classic.

Your Lotus Elise track day will begin with a safety briefing covering the vehicle, circuit and racing lines before you're taken on a 2 lap instructor driven demonstration in a performance saloon car, discussing the racing lines and braking points. Then, once briefed and ready - it's time to buckle up in the British icon of the motor world for a fantastic 4 laps of the circuit (3 in larger track length locations). Then, once the driving is complete, the experience will slow to a halt with a debrief and presentation of your personalised driving certificate.

You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences and you must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from all activities.

Your Lotus Elise Thrill will last for around 1 hour.

Spectators are welcome, however under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and there is a strict 'no pets allowed' rule on site.

The Lotus Elise experience is available from March through November various weekdays and weekends.

Please Note: Bruntingthorpe and Mallory Park are only available for weekend experiences.

Please wear comfortable clothes with soft soled shoes (flat) - suitable for driving.

Extreme weather conditions will affect the Lotus Elise experience and it may be rescheduled. Please call the centre on the day if unsure.
