Learn Snowboarding In 1 Day on Snow

Learn how to snow board in a day on real snow with an instructor guiding you through each technique.

This is a fantastic full day course that is your chance to learn how to Snowboard! The course is held at one of our three Snow Domes in the UK - you will learn how to Snowboard on real snow. Included in the price of the course is a full days worth of snowboarding tuition by a professionally qualified instructor, clothing hire and a days parking permit. This is fantastic course which is the perfect preparation to a snowboarding holiday or is just a great day during which you will learn a new and exciting sport.

Castleford Milton Keynes

You will arrive at the centre and collect your parking permit for the day. Then head off to get kitted up for the day in your clothing and board / boots etc. It is now time to hit the slope! Over the course of the day you will cover a huge amount, this includes: Intro to boarding, slope safety, stance & balance, toe edge pressure and diagonal movement. Intro to heel edge, heel edge diagonal movement. Intro to foot steering and basic turns. Linked turns, Poma Lift. When you're slope ready, you will have a chance to improve your techniques with instructor guidance (on main slope.) You will have a chance for tea and coffee breaks throughout the day.

No previous experience is required. A reasonable level of fitness is required, if you have a medical condition that you think may affect your ability to do the course please check with us before booking. 16+ in Milton Keynes and 17+ in Tamworth.

This is a full day experience that will last around seven hours in Milton Keynes and eight hours in Tamworth (inc breaks).

In Milton Keynes there will be a maximum of seven people in the group.
In Tamworth there will be a maximum of five people in the group.

This course is available all year round.

The snowboarding centre will provide: skis, poles, snowboards, helmets and sledges. Unfortunately gloves are not available to rent, and must be purchased on the day if you do not have any to bring with you.It’s -5°C out on the slopes – so you’ll need to bring or hire suitable clothing; it is recommended that you wear long sleeves, warm layers and waterproofs. Full length trousers and long-sleeved jacket tops are available to hire from £5 per outfit. You will also need sturdy footwear, which can be rented for around £3.

This is not a weather dependent course.
