Ride a Jet Ski in the waters just off the Essex coast with this great introductory course. Learn the controls and how to ride these powerful jet skis under the instruction of RYA coaches.

Enjoy a great experience riding a powerful Jet Ski in the waters of an Essex country park under the supervision of expert Royal Yacht Association instructors. During the course you will be taught all the basics to allow you to competently and safely ride and enjoy a Jet Ski during the 30 minute session. Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Wat Tyler Country Park, you will be exploring the water ways away from the Marina accompanied by a safety boat.

Your Jet Ski Experience will begin by changing into your provided protective equipment and a short safety brief covering water safety and the jet ski you will be riding. You will then be lead out to the Jet skis to begin the familiarisation session getting to know the controls and procedures before climbing aboard and making your way to the practice area in the channel. Expert RYA coaches will accompany you at all times to ensure you get the most out of the experience and come away with the skills to competently ride a Jet ski without supervision.
Minimum Age: 16
The whole experience will last around an hour with 30 minutes on the water.
Spectators are welcome to come wave you off from the jetty, but their viewing will be limited.
This experience is available 7 days a week. Please book at least 2 weeks in advance.
Protective clothing will be provided by the centre, but please bring a swim suit and towel.
The experience will be effected by bad weather. Please call the centre on the day to cheek.
