Introduction To Archery - For Two

Enjoy a day trying your hand at a 12,000 year old sport, archery. With an expert instructor teaching you the skills and techniques, you will be shooting bullseyes before the end of the lesson.

Enjoy a lesson with a friend or loved one learning the ancient art of archery. The bow and arrow date back over 12,000 years but is probably most famous in Britain for its links with legendary outlaw, Robin Hood. Set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, this is experience is in the spiritual home of Robin and his Merry Men and is the perfect location to have a go with his favourite weapon!

Your Introduction to Archery experience will begin with a welcome to the centre by the staff who will sign you in and introduce you to your instructor. After a short safety talk, the 50 minute lesson will begin at the target range. Your instructors will be teaching you the basics to ensure you pick up the skills as quickly as possible.

Minimum age: 12
12 - 17 years require adult supervision while on the event.

Please allow 1 hour at the venue.

Spectators are welcome and encourage to bring cameras.

This experience is available on;
Saturday and Sunday for groups of 2 subject to availability (please be aware you will be put into groups with other participants)
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Please wear clothing suitable to the weather conditions as the event takes place outside.
Strong, sturdy footwear is recommended.

This experience can be effected by adverse weather. Please call the centre to check if in any doubt.
