Hydroplane Challenge

Take to the water and experience the thrill and excitment of these single seater hydroplanes. You will be coached in how to control these powerful boats as you speed around the lake.

Get out on the water at the controls of a race prepared hydroplane. Expert instructors will be coaching you in every aspect of piloting these boats around the difficult water circuit. These extremely agile and powerful boats can reach speeds of 67mph which feels a lot faster when you are just inches from the water. This experience is sure to leave a smile on your face long after you have left the venue!

Kingsbury

Your Hydroplane Challenege experience will begin with a welcome to the centre where you will be kitted out with your safety gear. After a short safety briefing from your instructor, you will head out to the water and climb aboard the race ready Hydroplane. Throughout the day you will be coached on how to pilot these fantastic craft . Your experience will draw to a close back at the centre.

Maximum height: 6’2”
Maximum weight: 16 stone
Minimum age: 16 years

Participants are required by law to disclose all medical conditions or disabilities that may affect or be affected by your participation. I.e., back/heart conditions/ hearing/sight/pregnancy.
You will be required to sign a declaration of your fitness to participate on arrival.
Parental signature/ authorisation will be required for participants under 18 years of age.
There is a zero tolerance approach to drugs and alcohol.
Third Party Public Liability Insurance is provided with your experience. Personal accident insurance can be purchased on the day if required.

Please allow approximately 5 hours for the whole experience.

Spectators are welcome free of charge, but should they require lunch this must be booked direct with the centre prior to the event – Cost £10.00 per person.

Courses run on selected weekdays, Saturdays and some Sundays from May 1st through to October 1st – you are advised to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment
Your experience will be re-booked if cancelled due to inclement weather.
All dates are subject to availability.

Suitable clothing such as lightweight jeans, trainers, a long sleeved shirt or a pullover is a must as It is very important to keep all limbs covered whilst driving the boats.
A change of clothing is also recommended just in case along with personal toiletries.
Changing /shower facilities are available.
All safety equipment will be provided and must be worn as instructed.
