Hang Gliding pits you in an unavoidably spectacular viewpoint, as the tranquil sport is made more exciting by the mere fact it is held 3,000ft in the air! With an instructor present and at the controls, you can experience the view of what's below in spectacular fashion, soaring through the skies in near silence en route to your landing point. With around 30 minutes and the picturesque sights of the Northamptonshire countryside below; you will be on the most unforgettable of drifting glides back down to earth.

Northampton

Your Hang Gliding Experience in Northamptonshire will begin with a welcome brief covering the local grounds, the immense light aircraft you'll be piloting and any safety protocols of the amazing aerial activity. Then, once briefed you'll be ready to hit the skies for your unforgettable 30minute hang gliding flight soaring through the skies with the instructor at the helm, allowing you to view the incredible sights of what's below... possibly even switching roles for you to get some hands on experience actually flying the aircraft yourself!

You must give details of any medical condition that may affect your ability. If you are in any doubt, please contact your GP for advice. The hang glider is equipped with its own undercarriage which eliminates the need for running on take off and landing and is therefore suitable for all age groups and people with disabilities.

Your Hang Gliding Experience in Northamptonshire will last for around 1 hour, with closer to 30 minutes spent in the air.

Family and friends are welcome to watch your Tandem Hang Gliding flight, and can watch from a designated viewing area.

Tandem Hang Gliding in Northamptonshire is available on selected weekdays and weekends throughout the year (and depending on the weather).

If the weather is insufficient, your experience will be rescheduled.

All safety equipment is supplied by the centre.

You should wear old clothes that you wouldn't mind spoiling - and sturdy boots with ankle support (but no hooks!).

It is advisable to dress for the weather, with warm layers in the winter and sunblock / sunglasses in the winter!

Hang Gliding is very weather dependent. Please contact the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.

If the weather is insufficient, your experience will be rescheduled.
