Enjoy learning the basic skills and techniques of sailing with a loved one. Listen to the qualified instructor and discover a range of procedures, from emergency safety checks to taking full control and steering yourself across the lake. Whether your a complete beginner or perhaps looking to recap the basics, this fantastic course is perfect for providing a introductory to the thrilling world of sailing!

Norwich

The half day sailing experience will begin with a full safety briefing and introduction to the boat and masts. Learn the basic skills and techniques required to handle the 24 foot sailing boat before taking the wheel and having a go. Feel free to explore the lake and listen to the helpful hints and tips from the qualified instructor throughout. Not only will you enjoy hands on tuition, but take a seat and relax within the cockpit as the other participants take their go's.

Minimum Age: 8
Maximum Weight: 20 Stone

Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult. If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

This experience lasts approximately 3 hours, usually beginning at 9.30am or 1.30pm.

This experience entitles two people to enjoy the sailing course.
Please Note: There will be up to 4 other participants on the experience.

This experience is available most throughout April to October.

Please take warm, comfortable clothing, non-slip marking shoes (eg deck shoes), shower proof jacket and gloves.
Please Note: There is plenty of room to store extra clothing within the boat.

This experience can be affected by extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre on the day to make sure it is going ahead.
