Goodwood Jaguar D Type Experience

Drive the iconic British race car from the 1950's, the beautiful Jaguar D Type for three laps around the Goodwood circuit.

The Jaguar D Type is one of the most iconic cars from the past 60 years - winning multiple times at the famous Le Mans 24 hour race. The D Type was originally designed as a race car, but was later released in very limited numbers as a road car - and here you can get behind the wheel of the iconic and well kept vintage vehicle. Thanks to its 3.8L engine, the Jaguar D Type was capable of reaching 60mph in just 4.3 seconds, faster still than many modern sports cars. This fantastic experience will pit you in the cockpit of the majestic British classic, driving for three laps of the Goodwood circuit.

Chichester

Your Jaguar D Type experience will begin with a warm welcome to the centre at the drivers registration area where you will meet your instructor. After changing into your safety equipment and a short safety briefing, you will head out to the track and strap yourself into the beautiful Jaguar D type. You will then complete 3 laps of the Historic Goodwood circuit where this car will have raced back in its hay day of the 1950's.

Minimum Age: 17
All participants must hold a Full UK or European driving licence.

Please allow approximately 1 hour for this experience.
You must arrive 15 minutes before your experience

There is no limit on the amount of spectators and they are more than welcome to help themselves to tea and coffee with the drivers.
Viewing is available from on top of the pits area and in the areas designated by the staff managing the activity.

The Goodwood Jaguar D Type is available on selected weekdays between April and October.

Please wear soft soled shoes and comfortable clothing.

This experience can be affected by heavy rain and extreme weather conditions such as snow.
Should this happen the experience may be postponed and the centre will be rebook you a convenient date.
