Experience the thrilling world of driving with this fantastic experience. Get behind the wheel of a Ferrari 308 and feel the power of the 3.0litre V8 engine as you accelerate from the starting line. With the prestigious circuit and expert tuition, master the art of control as you take the classic 1970's supercar for a spin. With its retro design this stylish Italian export is a dream drive for many motoring enthusiasts. Now swap seats and put your reflexes to the test with a high-speed karting session. Being the first steps for many motor-racing careers, karting is fantastic for learning and practising the essential driving skills. With wheel-to-wheel manoeuvres tackle the challenging track and throw the light-weight vehicles around the tight hair-pin bends and see how quickly they respond! For the finale, take a seat in the rear-wheel drive BMW and take to the skid pan track! With a selection of hazardous surfaces learn the basics of over and under-steer along with a range of other important techniques to safely regain control of a sliding vehicle.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing, covering all aspects to be practiced during the day, including: racing lines and the controls of the Ferrari 308, ready for your day on Goodwood's historic motor circuit where you'll be under the watchful eye of one of our instructors for 3 laps of pure exhilaration. Finally your Instructor takes the wheel to give you the ride of your life in an expert hot lap! Next you have the opportunity to race the go-karts wheel to wheel against each other, where you can practice your driving skills with some high energy Karting and competition around sweeping corners and tricky hairpins. You will then move onto slippery oil and water skid pan course where you will jump aboard a rear wheel drive BMW to get to grips with your tyres and steering as you oversteer and understeer throughout the course. Your experience will come to a halt with a debrief, where your instructor will give you feedback from your driving session.

Minimum Age: 17
All participants must hold a full driving licence.

Please arrive 15 mins before the experience is due to start. Please allow approximately half a day for this experience.

There isn’t a limit on spectators and they are more than welcome and can help themselves to tea and coffee with the drivers. There is viewing on top of the pits area and in the areas designated and explained by the staff managing the activity.

This experience takes place on selected weekdays between April to October.

Please wear comfortable clothes and soft soled shoes. Any other safety equipment will be provided by the centre.

This experience is affected by heavy rain and extreme weather conditions such as snow. Should this happen the experience may be postponed and the centre will be rebook you a convenient date.
