Fly with expert control with this Gliding Trial Lesson. A perfect experience for people wanting to learn the basics of flying. Once you have been introduced to the aircraft you will be towed up to 2000 ft and your one-to-one tuition will begin, as you fly this incredible aircraft for 15-20 minutes. This experience allows you to appreciate the wonderful surroundings as you carry out your relaxing journey and cruise over the countryside.

Swindon

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre you will be briefed for your gliding experience. Once the safety breifing has finished you will start to get ready for the main flight! You will meet your instructor who will be responsible for ensuring you get airborne. Once you've made it into the air you are free to enjoy the spectacular views. The instructor will encourage you to take the controls yourself, but only if you feel comfortable.

Minimum Height: 6ft 3in
Minimum Weight: 16 stone
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.

This experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike. There is no extra charge for spectators to attend on the day.

The Gliding Trial Lesson is available on Weekends only.

You should wear casual and comfortable clothes with soft soled shoes such as trainers, no high heels. All safety equipment will be provided on the day.

This is a weather dependent activity. Extreme weather conditions may cause the experience to be re-arranged, please call the centre on the day to ensure it is going ahead.
