Windsurfing
Windsurfing has gone through a revolution in the last 10 years with
massive advances and kit design that meant that its popularity has remained
despite the best intentions of Kitesurfing – the new kid on the
block. To sit and watch pro freestyle windsurfers throwing themselves
(and their kit) in a 40 knot wind is some site to behold and competes
on an equal footing with its newer cousin.
In the past windsurfing has involved a very slow learning curve, now
with advances in kit design for beginners this has all changed. You
can be up and riding in one day and wondering what all the fuss is about!
