Recipient of a special commendation in the European Museum of the Year 2009, and winner of the Glod Award as Best Tourism Experience in London in the Visit London Awards for 2009, with an additional Bronze Award in the accessibility category.
Visit the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum where you can embark on an exciting and interactive tour of the UK's host of international tennis tournaments. You will experience a fantastic multi-dimensional and behind the scenes tour of the triumphs, traditions, players and tennis which have made Wimbledon a celebrated and legendary sporting venue. With privileged access to areas of the site which are out of bounds during the tournament, along with a specially trained London Blue Badge Guide, this is a wonderful experience that gives insight into the world of tennis and it's greatest venue.
Enjoy a Tea or Coffee accompanied by a Danish upon arrival. The tour includes privileged access to areas of the site which are out of bounds, even for tournament ticket holders, including Number 1 court, the Press Interview Room, BBC TV Studio, as well as the beautifully landscaped water-gardens with their amazing views over Central London. The tour, which is led by specially trained London Blue Badge Guides, finishes in the Museum itself, which of course is yours to enjoy as part of the price.
You then can indulge in a 3 course set lunch followed by classic strawberries and Champagne before leaving.
