White Water Rafting Experience for 2

Prepare yourself for one of the few the ultimate adrenaline pumping experience of the last decade, white water rafting. Team work is key, along with bravery and a cool head! Amazing water experience.

Whitewater rafting has long been one of the 'Must-Do' experiences as it combines a huge shot to the adrenaline gauge with a sense of reward and teamwork. With up to 8 others in the raft with you, its all about working together to safely traverse all aquatic obstacles in your way as you make it back down the run to the finish. With every splash and bang of the raft , your smile and breathlessness will increase until you finally reach the bottom, where you'll be overcome with reward and relief!

Pitlochry

Your whitewater rafting experience will start with a briefing about safety and white water rafting techniques, then it's on with your safety gear and you're off, as your qualified guide takes you and your fellow rafters down a varied white water run in an inflatable six or eight man raft. You may get more than one run dependent on conditions and time. Each boat is expertly guided by an expert instructor.

Minimum Age: 14 (12 in Wales) Parental consent is required for all under 18's.
Maximum Weight: 16 Stone or chest size 48 Inches then please contact us for more information. All Participants must be confident in open water and able to swim 25m with flotation device. White Water Rafting is not suitable if you are pregnant.

Expect to be at the centre for around 3 hours. Exact timings will vary dependent on location.

Spectators are welcome and will be able to see varying amounts of the experience dependent on location.

Nottingham and Northampton are open between March and October

All of the necessary equipment is supplied by the centre. Take a swimsuit and, towel and some warm clothes to change into afterwards.

Rafting operates in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather conditions or flooding if the rivers are too swollen. Please check with the centre on the day or the day before your experience.
