Take to the skies for the Ultimate in flying experiences, with the majestic and altogether magnificent Ultimate Top Gun Experience! Piloting the world's most responsive Aerobatic plane; the Extra300 - you and your Ex Military Pilot will be pulling all kinds of breath taking stunts, such as 'Loop the Loop' and 'Barrel Rolls' - as you take the controls yourself and experience the unique feeling of G-Force, fear and excitement all rolled into one incredible Top Gun experience! The 300bhp, light-weight aircraft is at the cutting edge of airplane design, and makes for an awe inspiring experience throughout the day. Once you have performed and mastered a few of the stunts, you will be engaging in an aerial 'Dog-Fight' - where you can shoot a fellow plane right out of the sky! (Well kind of, it sure looks that with the smoke and actions of the other pilot!)

The aircraft used is the Extra300 - the world's top performing 2man aerobatic plane (This plane can pull tighter, fly faster and pull more G force than the Bulldog)

Cirencester

Once you've arrived at the centre you will discuss the day with the pilots over refreshments before getting kitted out in the flying suit - choosing your call name from a list that includes 'Ice Man', 'Maverick' and much more! Then, you'll be out attending a full pre-flight briefing which includes all safety and parachute procedures, and how to fly Aerobatics and Air Combat for yourself! Then, you'll be ready to hit the skies and begin with a Formation Take-off (2 aircraft), a Formation Close Manoeuvre in the climb, a Demonstration from the Pilot and some 'Hands on Stick' time. This unique and magnificent opportunity allows you to fly some Aerobatics for yourself, before the aerial Dog Fight will draw your experience to a close. Your experience will then finish with a full de-brief and the presentation of a certificate to keep as a memento of your day.

Minimum Age: 16
Maximum Weight: 15stone 7lbs

If you are over 55 years of age you will be required to provide a letter from your doctor confirming your suitability to fly.

You will be required to complete a medical form before flying

The Ultimate Top Gun Experience will last for 3-4 hours in total with around 40 minutes flying time.

You can bring a spectator along who will be looked after during the course of the day, and there is a viewing area with a cafe and bar on site.

The Ultimate Top Gun Experience is available on Weekends from March to November.

You will be provided with your flying suit and helmet. Please wear flat shoes with decent grip (eg: trainers) and no skirts.

The Top Gun experience is weather dependent, it is absolutely necessary that you call the centre before you set off for the day.
