Rally driving has quickly become the most fashionable and desirable form of motor racing. Its high adrenalin approach to track time reduction and extreme car sliding techniques have made it a very attractive sport for adrenalin junkies and petrol heads alike. During the morning of this full day experience you will get to drive the awesome Ford Escort RS2000, which dominated the world of competitive rallying in the late 70's and early 80's and is still considered one of the great cars in the sport's history. After a morning of hair raising slips slides and skills acquisition you’ll be ready for an afteroon to match. You will be behind the wheel of either a Mitsubishi Evolution 7 or Subaru Impreza Turbo STI - both are turbo charged fined tuned monsters that will get the pulse racing at the same speed as the RPM! You will be driving on different surfaces including the gravel and tarmac stages. During this fantastic day you will not only have the time of your driving life, but you’ll also learn some brilliant new skills that may come in very handy one day!

Bicester

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the track and these two rally cars. Then it's time to don your race gear and get ready for some serious driving! You will move out to the practice area where your instructor will demonstrate and teach you how to perform handbrake turns, power slides and pendulum techniques. This combines steering, braking, throttle control and car position. The morning is reserved for the Escort RS2000 and the gravel stage. You will then break for lunch before the afternoon session. The afternoon is spent driving Subaru Impreza’s on a challenging tarmac circuit. The power, grip and handling is truly amazing and will hopefully improve your confidence, skill and speed across the tarmac. Throughout the day your instructor will be on hand to monitor your progress in both cars and help improve your techniques. Once you have mastered the basics to rally driving in both cars your instructor will take each participant on a white knuckle passenger ride! Your experience will draw to a close with a debrief covering each participants progress before announcing the 'Top Driver of the Day'! Each driver will receive a rally certificate on completion of the coure.

Minimum Age: 17
All participants must have a Full UK Driving License.
If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel that your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please call us before you purchase this experience.

This is a full day which you should allow 7.5 hours for.

There will be a maximum of 5 pupils per car allowing individual tuition and plenty of 'hands on driving time'.

Spectators are welcome. There is a fee of £10 per person and will be required to sign a declaration of indemnity.
Spectators should wear long sleeved tops, long trousers and trainers you don't mind getting muddy!

This experience is available on selected dates throughout the year.

You should dress for the weather and wear trainers. Helmet and all specialist equipment is provided by the centre.
