Why take a conventional car around the track when you could be sitting lounging on a sofa at 70mph, or perhaps finishing some work at the worlds only motorized office! This has got to be one of the most wackiest experiences available today. You will be driving a range of ingenious inventions from the one and only Panic Mechanics Edd China (Sky TV). Can you tame the double decker car (as seen on BBCs Top Gear!) or perhaps take a lie down in bed for a chauffeur driven tour of the countryside. If you are looking for an outstandingly memorable experience then look no further, this will definitely blow you away!

Northampton

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with some light refreshments and getting changed into your race overalls. First up on this wacky day of wacky races is the ‘World’s Fastest Office’. You’ll be dressed for it as you take a seat at your desk, driving around the Oval circuit! After 3 of the most memorable laps ever you’ll get the chance to chill out on the sofa... but on the ‘World’s Fastest Sofa!’ You’ll be driven at speeds of up to 70mph! Watch out couch potatoes! After another 3 fantastic laps on another record breaker, you’ll be ready for the ‘Double Decker’.

As seen on Top Gear, one of you will take the accelerator and brake, the other will steer from separate (but vertically stacked) vehicles! This crazy event will also take place on the half mile long circuit. After such a tough day you’ll probably need to go to bed... but that’s right, you guessed it, this is no ordinary bed! You’ll be chauffeur driven through some of Britain’s lovely countryside tucked up in bed with a hot water bottle!

Your day will be completed with certificates and some demonstrations of the wackiest and coolest stunts in Tranist vans and much more!

Maximum Weight: 20 stone.
Participants must be reasonably fit and over 16 years old.
Participants under 16 can be accommodated, although minors cannot participate in the Double Decker experience.
No experience is required although the ability to drive a car is vital (full driving license not required).

There are various starting times available on the day of the event. Generally half hour intervals between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
Total Time on site is around 3 hours.

Spectator admission is 10GBP and includes Light refreshments, a goodie bag and a souvenir colour programme - great fun for all the family
Spectators will have a fantastic time, with roving commentators and lot’s of showbiz excitement!

The Worlds Wackiest Racers experience is available on approximately 3 dates per year.

Clients should wear warm clothing as required and sensible shoes / trainers. Bring waterproofs in the case of rain. Protective race suits are supplied by the operators.

In the case of torrential rain, snow or ice, this activity may be postponed for comfort and safety reasons, in which case clients will be offered a range of alternative dates.
