This is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a superb collection of owls drawn from six different species. They range from stature from the diminitive burrowing owls of South America to the magnificent Bengal Eagle owls of India. Of course, no owl experience would be complete without contact with our own native Barn and Tawny owls. All of the owls have been around people since they first hatched, and are therefore relaxed and happy to be in your company. This is a great chance to be involved with birds rarely seen and barely touched. A wonderful and fun day!

The Owl Experience session starts off with an introduction to our owls where you will meet each one of them and learn a little bit about their life both with the centre and in the wild. Then after some very simple handling instruction, it is time to experience the thrill first hand as you fly them loose and have them return to your gloved fist. Mid way through out session, we will have a short break for refreshments, then it is on again to enjoy some more hands on fun! Plenty of opportunity for photographs will be given throughout the day.
