Learn the art of cocktails from some of the best bartenders the industry has to offer. Watch the experts mix up a range of mouth watering classic and contemporary cocktails and then get behind the bar and try it for yourself. This lively and memorable experience will leave you with a plethora of knowledge and a passion to develop your new found bar tending skills.
After the cocktail making is over, you'll take home a complimentary cocktail guide or a professional cocktail shaker.
Your 'Shaker' experience starts with a welcoming drink (tea and coffee also available) and an informative talk, covering the history of cocktails and the terminology and tricks used by the experts. Then you will receive two training sessions, including demonstrations and interactive cocktail making. After a break you will have the chance to make some of the most popular classic and contemporary concoctions, including the Classic Martini, Sour Mojito, Cosmopolitan and more. Not forgetting tasting and experimenting with your own creations and you'll take home a complimentary cocktail guide or a professional cocktail shaker.
Itinerary:
- 1.00pm - Arrive at venue for welcome drink
- 1.30pm - Introduction of the cocktail and its history
- 1.45pm - Tricks and Tips from the experts
- 2.00pm - Mixology, and the cocktail explained
- 2.15pm - Expert demonstrations and interactive cocktail making
- 3.30pm - Break (Tea, Coffee or cocktail)
- 4.00pm - Learn the classic and contemporary cocktails of today
- 6.00pm - Leave with a memorable experience, plus a complimentary cocktail guide or professional cocktail shaker

Duration
The experience will last for 5 hours, from 1pm until 6pm, including approximately 30 minutes for a break.
What to Wear / Equipment
There is no dress code for the experience, but smart casual dress is essential if you're planning to go out afterwards. All necessary equipment will be supplied on the day.

Group Size / Spectators
The cocktail experience has up to 15 participants, however up to 24 can attend for private group bookings. This experience is not suitable for spectators.
Availability
This experience is available on Saturdays throughout the year, additional days are available fro group bookings.
Restrictions
The minimum age for this experience is 18. You may be asked to provide proof of age identification on the day. Unfortunately the building does not offer disabled access.
