The Abyss at Magna offers the ONLY INDOOR extreme sports centre in the UK. The Awesome Foursome offers a unique full day of Adrenalin. Designed in order to build your confidence you will start with a 250ft Zip Wire ride. The longest Indoor Zip wire in the UK which allows you to reach speeds of 30mph. Next up is the 150ft Abseil into The Abyss from the rafters of The Face of Steel. Then it is time to brave the parachute simulator, a 150ft sheer drop, feel the rush of gravity before the braking system kicks in as you near the ground and slows you to a safe landing. Last and by no means least it is time for the Worlds only Indoor Bungee Jump. You will be enveloped in semi darkness, with spot lights whirling around Magna’s breathtaking structure, the 150ft Face of Steel. After climbing the 143 steps to the jump zone, with music pumping, dry ice fills the air, and nightclub style lighting….. And that’s before you’ve even taken the plunge. 3, 2, 1 Bungeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Upon arrival at the centre you will be required to complete a membership form. You will then get into your harness that you will wear for the day. It is now time to walk the long and winding walkway into the rafters to the 250ft Zip Wire, the jump-master will attach you and you will travel at approx 30mph before safely entering the landing zone. You will then, after instruction, abseil from 150ft down the face of steel. Next up is the climb to the top of the parachute descender where you will plummet to the ground from 150ft before enjoying a soft landing. Now it's the bungee jump! You will then climb the 143 steps to the top of the Abyss. The professional staff performs a number of checks and double checks on all of the equipment. Now all you have to do is jump off into the semi darkness which is filled with dry ice! There will be a personalized dvd and merchandise available on teh day for you to buy to remember your experience with.

Duration
Please arrive 30 minutes before your alloted time to ensure that all security checks and briefing can be done. You can expect to be at the centre for several hours.
What to Wear / Equipment
Dress in comfortable, casual clothes. Skirts are not recommended (think about it).

The day is indoors so is not weather affected.
Availability
This experience is available on selected weekends throughout the year.
Restrictions
Minimum age is 14. Under 16s need a parent/guardian's signature.
Over 50s will need a doctor's certificate to jump. You must be in good health and you must make the centre aware of any medical conditions that you think may affect you being able to jump.
Glasses and contact lenses MUST be removed prior to your jump.
You can not bungee jump if you have any of the following: high blood pressure, heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma, neurological condition and diabetes.
