Thames River Kayaking - Hampton Court Palace

Experience the joy of the River Thames with this fantastic Kayaking session. With your experienced instructor, you will be exploring the picturesque setting for an enthralling 2 hour session.

This fabulous tour of the famous River Thames is the perfect way to enjoy the incredible views of the capital city from sunset to sunrise. This experience is great for kayakers of all abilities and will take you accross the river so you can admire the beautifull wildlife and luxurious boats. This experience will enable you to explore London and the Thames like never before!

London

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre, either just before sunrise or just before sunset, your Thames River Kayak experience will begin by meeting the instructors and getting into your gear for the day. Then, you will begin your journey across the river from King Henry VIII’s Palace, taking in all of the picturesque beauty and the fresh air of London! With your BCU qualified Kayak instructor, the tour is perfect for people of all abilities and skill levels. After an enjoyable sunrise / sunset tour of 2 hours, you'll be back at the centre where the experience will finish.

Maximum Height: 6'4"
Maximum Weight: 18 stone
Participants must be able to swim 20 metres, although the nature of the kayaks and experience will not require rolling out of the kayak.

The Thames River Kayaking Tour will last for 2 hours, but expect to be at the centre for longer.

Spectators can stroll along the footpath and watch!

The Thames River Kayaking is available from Sunrise - Sunset 7 days per week.

• All safety equipment is provided by the centre.
• You should come in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, with a kagool and avoid jeans if possible.
• Trainers or crocs are ideal footwear.
• Bring a spare of clothes to change into after the experience.

Extreme weather conditions may affect if the experience takes place. Please call the centre on the day to confirm it is going ahead.
