Driving a single seater around a proper race track is the stuff dreams are made of. After getting to know the track in a "hot hatch" with your instructor you will then get a chance to take the wheel of the ubiquitous Single Seater Vauxhall Lotus. With an impressive 2 litre finely race tuned engine in a chassis that weighs next to nothing you will fly around the course. It handles much like a formula one car - meaning that this is about as close as you can get to the real thing.
The day will begin with a welcome and introduction including a thorough safety briefing & circuit techniques. Next will be 2 familiarisation laps followed by 4 laps in a 'hot hatch' with a professional racing driver / ARDS instructor. Then you will have 4 laps in the fantastic Vauxhall Lotus 2.0 litre single-seater, an autotest and finally an Individual Driving Assessment and Driving certificate.

Duration
Course lasts approximately 2 hours.
What to Wear / Equipment
You should wear comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided by the centre.

Group Size / Spectators
Spectators are welcome, although there is a strict 'No Pets Allowed' rule. There are some on-site catering facilities.
Weather
This experience will only be affected by extreme weather conditions; if in doubt please check with the centre before setting off.
Availability
The course takes place on selected weekdays & selected Saturdays throughout the year.
Restrictions
You must have a full UK or European driving license with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Drivers shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated.
