Silver Salmon Fishing Experience

Reap the rewards and reel in the prized fish with this great salmon fishing experienc. Learn the techniques and methods to landing the best salmon in the country.

This experience gives the experienced fisherman the opportunity to practice and tone his skills. Patience is the virtue as you cast your rod and wait for that important tug. Will it be what you expected or will you have bitten off more than you can chew! Held in an exclusive and unique salmon pool in Rutland, it is a single lake of one acre that has been specially designed and constructed. Expect a few fish to be up to 15-20lbs. For those of you keen to catch that fish of a lifetime, this is the place. All the stock fish are growing really well and are truly beautiful fish. Includes taking home one of your catch to cook for your dinner!

Oakham

You will arrive at the centre, be greeted by the fishery owner and be taken to the on site pavilion for refreshments. After a brief introduction, you will get your first opportunity to cast your rod and start your battle with the subtle salmon. Throughout the day's fishing you will receive helpful advice to optimise your catch rate and also tricks of catching the biggest fish on the day. Lunch is not included in the experience but can be booked prior to the date. Your experience will finish with a photo shoot at the end of the day with the fish you caught to keep.

Minimum Age: 16

Please allow the whole day for this experience.

This experience is great for both individuals and groups alike.
Spectators are allowed to view fishing but not allowed by the water

Please ring for availability, but usually closed during the summer months and open throughout the colder seasons.

Please wear warm comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting wet and sensible footwear for walking round the lake.

This experience is only cancelled during extreme weather and if the lake freezes.
