Windsurfing is one of the most exciting, vibrant and challenging sports around today. It is fast, dynamic, fun, exhilarating and above all it's cool! Windsurfing is also one of the most cost effective ways of having fun on the water and with the introduction of modern equipment and innovative training techniques it is now easier to learn and pick up than ever. The RYA Level 1 Windsurfing Course is a two day course for people who are serious about learning to windsurf or if you have tried it a while back and want to start from the beginning again. It is a really fun course and your progress will surprise you, the RYA Level 1 certificate allows you to hire equipment at RYA Centre's worldwide under supervision.

Through out the two day course you will learn the basics of windsurfing with the course covering the introduction to the board and rig, simulator work on land, balancing and rig handling techniques, upwind & downwind windsurfing, safety & self rescue techniques and there will be plenty of on water practicing under the watchful eye of your instructor. By the end of the course you will be able to sail around an area and be ready to move your skills on even further. Logbook and handbooks are included in the cost of the course and upon completion an R.Y.A. certificate.
