The Rally Gold Experience gives you the chance to drive two of the finest and most successful rally cars that the sport has ever seen. The Subaru Impreza has dominated the rally world for around a decade now, with the late Colin McCrae enjoying an immensely successful stint as the world champion in the finely tuned Japanese powerhouse. This great experience gives you the chance to compare the Subaru with its arch rival and most successful competitor; the Mitsubishi Evo (VII). The 2.0L turbo charged rally car has been the ‘must-have’ alternative on the road, and its most successful competitor on the track. This unique opportunity gives you the chance to compare and contrast the two, back to back! It’s then up to you to decide which is the king of the road before practicing the essentials, with a handbrake turns session in the Peugeot 106 with your instructor's guidance.

Once you have arrived and been welcomed to the centre your day will begin with a thorough safety briefing covering all aspects of the track and these powerful rally cars. After you have 'briefed up' its time to 'buckle up' in the Subaru for two driving sessions out on the oval circuit. After a short break it's time to get comparative as you buckle up for two more sessions, this time in the turbo charged Evolution. After a short break you will move on and begin the handbrake turns session in the Peugeot 106, on gravel. You will then be treated to a passenger ride with an experienced rally driver before the day is complete with a debriefing and presentation session. Spectators will be treated to a free 4x4 taster session.

Please allow 7 hours at the venue for this experience.

Spectators are very welcome and will be given a free 4 x 4 off road experience, (subject to availability)

Course starts at 9am and run on selected Saturdays and some weekdays from February to December.

All safety equipment including helmet and racing overalls will be provided on the day. Please wear comfortable and loose fitting clothes which you don't mind getting a little dirty. Also, please wear thin soled shoes or trainers.

This experience will only cease to operate in extreme weather conditions. Please check with the centre before setting off.
