Junior Discover 4x4

Give them a major advantage with this great 2 hour driving session. After the theory has been learnt they'll be out on a range of surfaces practicing with a BORDA qualified professional.

• Drive through tricky terrain, water & steep slopes

This is the ideal opportunity for the under 17's to learn the fine art of vehicle control before your even allowed on the roads. You will learn the basic skills of steering, accelerating, braking and vehicle control before testing your new skills on the purpose built 'Challenge ' course. The course itself is challenging, with hills and drops, mud runs and water, side slopes and gullies throughout giving you a thrilling experience and using the 4x4 vehicles to the max!

Reading

After an introduction to the vehicles (Land Rover Discovery or Jeep Cherokee) and a comprehensive safety brief by one of the qualified instructors, you will be shown all the driving skills needed. You will then take the controls over terrain you never though possible! You will share the vehicle with up to 3 other Junior guests and take turns driving under instruction. All Junior drivers will get a personal drive time of 25 minutes and will be presented with a certificate of achievement at the end.

Minimum age is 12. Maximum age is 16. Minimum height is 4’10” and all participants must be physically fit. Drivers need to be over 4'10" tall. Any medical conditions or medication must be notified to the centre upon booking. All Junior drivers will require a signature of consent from a parent or guardian who must accompany them on the day.

Please allow 2 1/2 hours at the centre, with approx 25 minutes drive time.

Sessions are available on selected weekdays and weekends all year round.

Make sure you wear casual clothes and boots that you won’t mind getting muddy with flat shoes.

Should it be necessary to cancel the activity due to bad weather the centre will arrange an alternative date with you.
