Junior 4x4 Driving Experience

Junior 4x4 Driving Experience, off road challenge driving day for juniors, drive off road in rugged terrain, learn skills such as steering and braking control.

This is the ideal opportunity for the under 17's to learn the fine art of vehicle control. Your qualified instructor will teach you the basic skills to driving, from steering to braking before letting you loose to explore the purpose built 'Countryside Challenge ' course. With 50 minutes of driving, you will have plenty of time to practise your new skills, whilst tackling a range of off-roading obstacles!

Reading

After an introduction to the vehicles, and a comprehensive safety brief by one of the BORDA qualified instructors, we will show you the basic driving skills needed. Then you take the controls and drive over terrain you never thought possible. Hills and drops, mud runs and water, side slopes and gullies.

Please Note: This experience usually takes place in an automatic vehicle.

All participants must be physically fit.

This experience will last for 3 hours with a drive time of 50 minutes per person.

There will be a maximum of 3 guests per vehicle. Spectators are welcome but a small charge may be made for refreshments.

Selected week days and weekends all year round.

Make sure you wear casual clothes and boots that you won’t mind getting muddy.

Should it be necessary to cancel the activity due to bad weather the centre will arrange an alternative date with you.
